Yuzuki has a very motherly personality. She loves to take care of younger children and those who need help. You will often find her in the kitchen baking things for people. She gets along with just about everyone she meets. Even if the person she's talking to has a sour personality, not once will she get angry or scold them. She talks to them the way their mother would, regardless of their age.
She speaks in a dreamy voice and always looks a little tired, even when she smiles. Since she is a stay at home mother, she is always baking, knitting, sewing, doing laundry or other such things like that. She enjoys doing arts and crafts with her children when she isn't busy around the house. She does have a nanny that stays with her, but the nanny is more of a friend and is only there for when she needs to go out.

Everyday was filled with these lessons, leaving her barely anytime to actually be a child. She was viewed by everyone who knew her as an "old soul"; a young child with all the values of an adult.
While her and her sister spent everyday together doing their chores, her sister didn't take any of it serious and often went out to play against her parent wishes. This caused not only the parents to look down on the sister, but Yuzuki herself disliked her own sister. Not just for the fact that she was pushing her chores out of the way, but because her sister was able to go against their parents without any concern for what punishment might come. Yuzuki was viewed as the better sister and got all of the love and admiration she could want from her parents, while her sister got none, but was allowed to go out and play. Yuzuki was extremely quiet and never voiced her opinions about wanting to go out and play with her sister. Instead, she stayed inside and worked to become a housewife, shunning her sister as her family advised her too.
At the age of 10, Yuzuki's parents introduced her to a family living across town who owned a small business that was bringing in a fair amount of money. While her sister was the oldest of the two (born just a few minutes earlier) Yuzuki was chosen to be married to the families only son as she was the only one of the two who had stuck to her training. Yuzuki began to hate her sister at that moment. Now there was no way she would ever be able to be a child and play with everyone else. Being put into an arranged marriage meant that she would have to train harder to please the boy who would one day be her husband.
As soon as she turned 16, Yuzuki was prepared to be married in the next coming months. While she tried to see it as a joyous occasion, part of her was filled with sadness as she knew this was the beginning of her time as an adult. Her sister confronted her before the wedding and told her how much she envied her since Yuzuki was going to be well off in life and had the skills that made her desirable towards men. Yuzuki suddenly felt bad for all of the years she spent shunning her sister. She apologized for all of the years of shunning her and the two vowed that after the marriage, they would work on developing a sisterly relationship. Her sister gave her a bracelet that had charms for both of their names on it. Yuzuki promised she would never take it off.

Though her husband's family was greatly disappointed by her refusing their idea, they respected her wishes.
In 2001, at the age of 20, she birthed two little girls, Chiyumi and Chifuyu. Shortly after this her son, age 3, started to become unruly and would throw temper tantrums. Her husband was always out on business and was never home to help her discipline. She felt extremely guilty about punishing him and felt even more guilty about spending so little time with him while she tried to take care of her newborns.
At this time, her sister began asking her to borrow money from her. She did so in secrecy, not telling her husband as her sister had now been totally shunned by both families. Yuzuki believed that her sister would eventually pay her back, but sadly, Mizuki never did pay her back. When Yuzuki's husband found out in 2004, he became furious and beat Yuzuki. After this, her husband never trusted her again and Yuzuki began to resent her sister once more. Her sister never came around again. This event seemed to cause her son to hate her more in her eyes as after this event took place, his behaviour seemed to worsen.
Broken by the fact that her son seemed to longer love her, she hired a private detective to locate her sister. Upon locating her, Yuzuki cooked up a special batch of muffins filled with a drug that would kill her. Once her sister ate one of the muffins, Yuzuki left the body there. Her sister lived a life filled with drugs and one night stands from what the private investigator had told her, so there was no one to suspect anything or miss her after her death. Yuzuki never regretted killing her sister as to her, her sister had threatened her family by causing her son to hate Yuzuki.
Years later in 2005, at the age of 24, Yuzuki gave birth to her last child, a girl named Umeko. On that day as she was being rushed to the hospital, she begged someone to stay behind and watch her three children, the son was currently aged 7 and the daughters 4. Her husband told her they would be fine at home and she believed him. After the delivery of her child, however, she was informed that her son had run out in front of a car and been killed. Yuzuki couldn't find the strength in her to cry as her husband stood beside her and said their son had always been a trouble maker. She felt a great hatred growing in her heart for her husband. It was his fault that her son had died.
A few months after the funeral of her son, she prepared a special tea for her husband that would make sure he would never hurt any of her children again. No one suspected a thing as the grieving widow cried as they told her her husband had died from an apparent drug overdose. After all, she had just given birth and then lost two important people. Who would suspect such a sweet housewife would be capable of such things?
Shortly after this, as she was walking alone one night, she discovered she had the ability to see the Dark Hour. She believes this is because she is guilty of having the sins of her husband and sisters death on her hands, regardless of how right she was in killing them. She spends the Dark Hour wandering around looking for people to protect.
Despite the killing she has done, Yuzuki would not just kill anyone and is an extremely mothering person. However, if someone threatens her family, she would not think twice about injuring them. She believes that nothing is more precious than the bond between a mother and her child and wishes all children could experience such a thing, which is why she acts as a mother figure to everyone.
She recently moved near the Iwatodai dorm after hearing about S.E.E.S and Neo Strega. She thinks it's a shame that children are out fighting and just wants everyone to get along. Though she takes no real stand on the Dark Hour, if she ever learned that the Dark Hour was threatening her children in anyway, she would do anything to stop it.
